The Jog-a-Thon will be held this year on Tuesday March 24th and Wednesday March 25th. This is a really fun event for our kids and an important fundraiser for our school! There are a variety of volunteer opportunities before, during, and after the Jog-a-Thon, such as hanging encouragement signs, passing out water, and marking lap cards. We are kindly asking parents to donate water, oranges, or some of your time to make the event run smoothly. Per the School District's Wellness Policy we need donations of WHOLE ORANGES (not sliced) this year. The oranges will be dropped off at the cafeteria on MONDAY and the cafeteria staff will slice them for our runners. As always, all contributions are VOLUNTARY! All children will have the same opportunity to participate in the Jog-A-Thon regardless of donations!

In past years we have sold Encouragement Signs for a nominal fee which are hung on the field to cheer on your runner (or class). We are currently looking for a volunteer to help coordinate creating, printing, and selling these signs so we will be able to offer them again this year. If this is something you are interested in helping out with please e-mail Christina Teets at christinateets6@gmail.com
